Systemhause Named Dallas Green Program Partner & Third Party Verifier

The City of Dallas has announced today the approval of Systemhause as third party consultant and verifier for their new Dallas Green Initiative. Under the new program, commercial and residential builders will be able to use Systemhause, in lieu of Dallas, to show mandatory compliance. Compliance will be both Energy Code (IECC 2009) and particular LEED categories. Because the newly adopted 2009 IECC mandates duct testing, it will be even more important for the contractor to rely on a true building science and diagnostic expert. “It’s not about the old pass/fail reactionary process anymore” says Folsom. “It will require up front planning and onsite training to stay proactive and keep production running smoothly.”
